Post your most often used cheat sheet or reference. Anything from color wheels to possibly just your most often drawn reference photo. I'm curious to see what helps everyone the most and hope to steal some.

i save them but i dont use them. On the other hand i made this cause i didn't know what layer options really did. Totally useless, didn't learn anything. Lighter and darker colour only works above/below 50% though, that was interesting-ish.

That is interesting. Thanks for contributing!

how the fck can anyone effectively translate that into the effect it would have on a wip painting? impossibru.

somebody posted a painting of a face in bw and then applied different combinations of layermodes in attempts to colorize it. that one is kind of useful but i don't have it.

I googled it and I gleaned it's like a much more polished version of Posemaniacs??? I just glanced so I'm probably wrong. However if it's as good as you say I hope it's available on the Google Play store.

I have it too. It basically as a 3D rotatable model of Houdon's E'corche. It has a full body view, as well as isolated views of the head, an arm, a leg, and a torso. Each are viewable as a scan of the original sculpture, a version that was anatomically corrected by Scott Eaton, a translucent version with the skeleton visible (and the points where bone is visible on the surface anatomy color coded, a version where the muscles are color coded and labeled, and a simplified form model (not as useful as the rest).

It's cheap and nice to have. There should also be a free version that has only the original Houdon IIRC, but it might also have skeleton view. It's also unfortunately only available on iOS. According to their kickstarter there were plans to get it to android and other platforms (PC and Mac), but they haven't updated on their progress in quite some time so I wouldn't hold my breath.

you mean I have to draw all those lines, remember the distances (that haven't been stated) and the angles of the lines to create a head?

how is this a system?

I'm a beginner myself, but I'd wager that you'll do that until you are confident about the proportions "innately".

Yes. Again and again.

When you've studied and done it enough times, you'll be able to draw a well proportioned head from imagination.

Are you looking for information about technical aspects like how much time to spend on an average page, what materials/programms to use, art stuff like layout, or are we talking about storytelling resources for things like narrative structures, how to come up with a good plot for a story, etc.?
