A must have imho

Saw this recommended once but it gave me a very new age-ish vibe same for The Artists's Way. However, I think I will check it out this time.

Such a dull and repetitive book. Better off reading the 48 laws of power (not that any of his books have any real life application, but that one's at least entertaining.)

Marcus Aurelius's Meditations, The Art of Worldly Wisdom by Balthasar Gracian and The Art of War by Sun Tzu are all far more meaningful reads if you're looking for self discipline and motivation.

For inspiration:
Redwall, Discworld, J R R Tolkien, Night angel triology, The Shadow of the Torturer, Gentlemen bastards, Dune, enders game, 1984.

Is Pratchett really that good? I see no end to the love he gets but it's generally from the same crowd who enjoy shit like MST3K and Red Dwarf

Pratchett is awesome, Never read nor seen those two you mention.
Try his audiobooks, I recommend "Men at arms"
