Is constructing figures from imagination supposed to be super hard at first?
What's a good book/artist to start studying to get better at drawing figures entirely from imagination?
Or should I continue grinding through Fun with a Pencil, Keys to Drawing, Dynamic Anatomy and Constructive Anatomy?
Is it bad that I'm trying to read 4 books at once?
Am I supposed to practice figure drawing with models several thousand times in order to be able to just know where shit fits on a gesture that I come up with myself? what's a good way to practice construction anyway?

Huh. Thank you. Yeah I definitely have a habit of over thinking things. It's going to be very nice drawing boxes and spheres for a while.

Hey man
don't just do that

Try and [identify] the underlying forms in everything you see around you and draw accordingly. Drawing spheres and boxes is good and all but it doesn't do you as much good as learning to see where the shapes come into play.

Once you learn how to construct and draw a human body from life, then you will have a much easier time constructing one from imagination.

I guarantee it.
