Not OP, but if you want to exercise shadow grouping, slightly overexposed images with a single strong light source are perfect for that. Not every study needs to be primarely about values and rendering.

I'm stuck on the face. How do you get her so she looking up, like I can't do it because it just black aorund her eyes. Yet in the picture you can tell she is looking up.

I do the same thing because I hate switching between my reference to my drawing - but I've got to say it's probably not helping anything. I use this also as a way to draw a straight line to measure instead of using a pencil to size-measure the reference and transfer it to my drawing.

This is probably hurting my ability to properly transfer things, so I think I'm going to stop. Also you won't be able to do this outside of a digital canvas when drawing from life.

You're missing the dynamic twist of her mid section so it makes her stance rather dull. Also be aware of the length of her limbs and in what relation they have to each other.
