If I went up to literally anyone, and yes, even my Japanese friends, and said I draw anime. Every single one of them would know exactly what I mean. This is the point of using words anon, learn to use words.

Now lets take what you said, if I went up to a Japanese friend and said I draw shoujo, imagine what that means to them. If I went up to a random white dude and said I draw shoujo, they're probably ask what show I was talking about.
This is a breakdown of communication because you've refused to just use a commonly accepted term.

its less commonly known, but regardless its still in reference to comics and even if I said I draw "manga" in your definition that's completely wrong, because it has nothing to do with paneling or story boards. manga is just as incorrect of a term as anime, but more niche and annoying to say.
