I'm not necessarily very repetitive though. It's got continuity but I'm doing different stuff constantly. Not to mention the beauty of meme painting is that there's always new ones. I'm a historian!

the long legged dog is the /i/ meme whose name I never remember. And the dog and cat guys are just ripping off Goya. Planning on doing a bunch more Goya things though.

Yeah and then the goof is that I use the attention to insanely rant about how time is entropy and humanity is collapsing and the internet was a mistake and stuff.

they're (mostly) all solicited. I was mostly just doing stuff that anons said to do.

Plus the whole first act in the Van Gogh race is "the peasant paintings." Van Gogh spent the first ~5 years living in the country making ugly un-commissioned paintings of peasants and laborers wrong, and circlejerking about how industrialization is dooming humanity and everything.

This has been my squeakquel adaption of that. It's a subversion goof! Whereas he painted peasants "wrong" I paint copyrighted images of celebrities and meme faces from a toxic website! The celebrities are the peasants! (You) are the peasants! We're all the peasants man!

And overexplaining jokes can be funny probably!

anyhoo yeah the number of celebrity meme portraits is going to be dropping as I spiral out over acts 2 and 3. Got a lot more art knockoff memes on the docket. Everything is gonna scale up and out hopefully.

idk whether to do arm bent on ripley (on the left) like in og potato eaters or do extended arm like in the photo I was using as reference. Extended arm kind of fit's ripley's character more: trying to help but keeping her distance, and it's more of a dynamic action. Just looks all retarded 2 me.

idk whether to do the hand extended or bent on ripley. Think I like bent for the parallel to original but I like extended so it seems like she's pushing away and stretching the arm out. Seems weirdly casual for the context with the arm bent.

Although I could have her holding his arm from the bent position and it may make it better.
