I have both Vilppu's Drawing Manual and Hampton's book in my bedroom.
I wanted to start out with Vilppu because it seemed more beginner friendly but once he moves past gesture and starts with anatomy it just seems really random. One one page he tells you about one detail about the elbow and on the following something completely different like the shoulder or the foot. Hence, I decided to do Hamptons book first.
much like >>4090205, I'm at the gesture part currently but the book looks really structured and well-designed.
