/ic/ - Artwork/Critique

Since I forgot about this challenge until the last minute and only had time to do the best and worst template, I'll stick my neck out and post this one here. Left side is stuff from Jan and Feb of last year, and right side is stuff from Nov and Dec. I tried to make apples-to-apples comparisons as much as possible.

I've definitely improved, though not anything that could be considered impressive. I did a lot of photo studies last year but not enough effort integrating those into my other work. More recently I've been spending more time doodling and drawing from imagination to figure out what has actually stuck and what needs revisiting. I'm also trying more to use references as inspiration rather than directly transcribing them.

Looking through 364 submissions was an interesting exercise and helped me realize just how much fun I had drawing this past year. Here's to another year and many more.
