Pretty proud of this one. My third portrait, I learned a lot doing it, some cool techniques like the cigarette and glasses, and in general highlighting with white. I also think this is the best freehand copy I've done in terms of just 'drawing what I see' - I did not barely have to go back and change much.

I just wish I didn't go full blown paint mode. This was supposed to be a sketch to study shadow, and cross hatching and all that, and I ended up trying to paint even though I've not read or learned anything about it at all, and I still can't decide if I like it more or not

Still, 3 portraits in, it really is nice to feel yourself getting better
