You guys just seem very insecure about your art skill due to all of the crabbing that goes on here. It ends up locking you into this road to failure where you do nothing but draw boring shit and inevitable lose motivation because all you draw is boring shit (big surprise right). I have a hard time focusing on fucking anything honestly probably worse than most others on this board. Despite this, I have been able to consistently put in 8 hours a day for the past two months by putting the FUN in fundamentals. You don't want to ignore fundamentals and training hard but why not loosen up and have some fun. If you are doing gestures then put the gestures into funny poses in a large scene. Even if you are just drawing shapes in perspective try to put them in an arrangement or pattern that looks cool or fun. Its gonna change your fucking world believe me. If you aren't enjoying yourself during the process it will show later on when you are making a finished product in the form of the le no soul meme.

I've heard about it, I didn't see it. Apparently there were two anons having a massive argument in a thread till one posted "post work". After one of the anons posted merc.wip the other anon backed off seemingly due to the quality of art in the image but the reason the meme is so popular is because a lot of people think the painting isn't *that* good. You can see the flaws in it, the stance is awkward, the face is weird. Its mocking everyone on ic think they are better than they are or something.
