Guess it depends on how we define "trigger." I love the NPC meme. It's as embarrassing for the children unironically using it as the cuck meme was for 2014-2017. Like the entire cuck meme has essentially become the calling call of disaffected virgins. Propping up the concept of being a "cuck" as the ultimate negative concept, is something that fundamentally appeals to people with no or minimal sexual experience. You can't be a cuck if you never fuck!

But then cuck started to backfire after 2016. Normals and people that consume a lot of propaganda started to become aware of how an entire cult of edgy virgins on the intranette that were obsessed with Trump were constantly shrieking about cuckoldry. And everyone started mocking people that did it.

And that led to the rise of the basedboy meme, but that too is inherently silly coming from random doofball internet addicts, so that didn't last long.

And now all it's migrated to NPC. It's another type of insider nu-speak that mom won't understand that you all obsess about and prop up strawman ideas about how you define the concept, and then everyone circlejerks about it and it spreads through your cult and starts to bleed into mainstream culture and like Cuck and Basedboy it'll just be another word that weirdo kids internalize and radicalize against and unironically say for a while.

It's standard cult shit. Like in Scientology they have Suppressive Persons or whatever. Calling someone an SP means nothing to people outside of the cult and everything to people inside the cult. Shit that may improve your chances would probably be like funny (non-anime) cartoons, paintings or other traditional media that is more than just pencilling, and subjects that are either things they like or things that can decorate a room. Animals, scapes, portraits, still lives, etc. And they do like stuff with girls as subject matter as long as it's not overly-sexualizing.
