I was doing these exercises he listed here, except with printer paper and a pencil, since i don't have money for anything let alone new art supplies rn.

I thnk I'm doing it wrong though, I got to the fifth one, and it became easy because I was able to follow the indentation of the paper from the first lines. They're not supposed to be that strong, right? Just light brushes that match the lines? Or is it fine for the practice? I'd ask HIM but the comments are turned off. Also, sometimes when I'm drawing the line the paper will sort of wrinkle up on me and it goofs up the lines.

Also, he's right handed, and I'm left. I found it's easier to draw going right to left on the line, then left to right. Should I be practicing the line both ways or is this something I should remember for later; starting on the right side of a sketch and working left?

I'm sorry if this all seems silly to ask, but I'm having a hard time shaking all this doubt and anxiety about drawing, doing exercises right or not.
