Amazing artistic labor anon. These things are always cherished in the family, regardless of "how good" the art quality is.
As many anons pointed out already, the piece has a few issues, to me the most useful critique/advice is about composition. I did a simple redline with some broad guidelines. Like the rooster looking straight "to the camera", is funny but maybe the rooster could look way better with a profile side view, the doggy on a leash in the corner doesn't help, also forces you to put her arm in a unpleasant position, the dog looks so much better on her arms. The dog is really well done by the way.
As an overall drawing advice, simple big broad lines and minimalist design makes everything better in particular when doing a "cartoon" style. Keep at it anon!
