Neither of those Anons, but let me tell you how it is; once upon a time an Anon suggested "Anime" threads and was quickly frowned upon by /ic/ elitists that feared traffic coming from /a/ leaving /ic/ plagued by beginners.

After a while of constant crying and moaning, to appease the complaints it was decided to rename these threads "Alternative art/Stylization" for the purpose of removing "Anime" since that phrase alone sparked controversy.

The emphasis of the Anime threads was to act as a containment general to keep those who drew anime out of the regular drawthreads it was never meant to be legitimate it was only to serve as a filter but of course /ic/ managed to find something else to complain about and fast forward 3 years later here we are coming full circle.
