yes, he lived in pretty much a permanent state of psychosis in his own fairytale dreamland

he inspires me because probably about 40% of the time, im in that delusional state too. I make some of my best work when im psychotic, and remembering Darger and his passion and work ethic, for nobody but himself, gives me some hope when i've got nothing BUT my work to hold onto.
