study value like im doing. just dedicate a whole day to drawing various stuff only keeping value in mind (meaning fuck construction, fuck perspective, and fuck anatomy). force your brain to think in terms of brightness rather than shapes.
idk if it's the same for anyone else but this was like THE PIECE of the puzzle i was missing, the lack of which kept me returning to the bath like you.
