It's good to have ambition anon, but you need to slow down and properly learn the little things, no small study is a waste of time so long as you learn from it, and it's additions of all the little things you learn during them that make every great piece look great.

It takes time to learn how different objects reflect light, and how that light bounces around the piece onto surfaces behind direct light.

Do small lighting studies of individual objects made from different materials, you'll gain better understanding of how to structure bigger pieces and actually satisfy your ambition, right now you're trying to run before you can walk.

As frustrating as it is, you can't skip or rush learning.
