Your colors are very desaturated and you need better textured brushes.
It's a good idea and the values are definitely good.
The clouds don't look cool or creepy, but just really weird.
I can't tell where the lightsource is.
The painting itself looks okay, it looks like you worked on it for a long time so good job.
