PSA: People please be very organized with your layers, all this time I've been thinking I'm slow af and that may be still be right but this is the first time I do most of the coloring in the same day I finished the line work and I still have to paint opaquely outside of the mask boundaries.

For the bg, I saw this video by Evan Lee (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBUt9tHBw_k)) and how created layer after layer almost indiscriminately, very loosely and decided to do the same but thinking about how the bottom layers had to be darker and build up to the highlights

Finally if someone tells you he/she likes your work and wants to commission you, accept and step up to the plate, I turned down most of the stuff I was offered before because I though I was not good enough and my process was very slow but I would have not find out ways to purposedly increase my speed if these were personal pieces. Having a deadline while trying to fulfill the expectations of other by doing your best pushes you to think ahead and consider things you have not done before.
