To an extent, I do agree with this post even though it may be in jest. I think people here tend to get caught up with trying to fit the /ic/ mold and end up burning out from neverending fundies grind. They lose sight of what they wanted to make in the first place. It's easy advice to give someone to say "Needs more loomis" because in the vast majority of cases this is true and it will work at getting them to improve. But the truth is that it's a cop out answer. To really improve quickly, you'll want to figure out the quirks about your own learning style and to consider what's the best way approach your problems.

Basically, be malleable in your approach. Don't get overly attached to anything (your art, your methods)-- the color palette for that baiken completely changed midway through the painting lmao. I dunno, that's just how I feel though-- do whatever works.
