Being a male saves you headaches. The art community is so petty as it is, but between girls it's even worse. People obsessed with call-out culture mostly prey on female artists, because they assume we are weaker, easier to provoke and bend, and are expected to be into 'PC culture'.

I remember crystal clear the tumblr popularity boom, and there was this contrast of constant stalking and 'kys' anon messages and blogs being made for the sole purpose to archive whatever little error a female fandom artist made, while male porn artists who drew the most depraved shit were left alone, as it was just accepted as incel stuff for incels.

Things haven't changed much except for very popular guys like hotdiggedydemon and shadman
