sup /ic/ semibegginner here trying to do things for a game i'm making

just attempted a really quick idle animation test and it didnt really go well because of how erratic my planning was + my hurry to finish it to see how it would look in-game

i'm aware things are morphing around everywhere, i mostly need critique on the movement itself, since i'll probably do a lineart pass to make things stable and sweet-looking. (right now its all sketchy and shit)

the weapon he's holding is very lightweight and its held via a handle inside of it

the anim's at 60fps, but flash doesn't like exporting .gifs at 60, for some reason in here it looks slower in the first half (where there is more frames complete) than the second half (where there's a few uncomplete frames) so the playspeed is kinda erratic, anyone know a fix?
