This piece will always look bad because of the pose. Even my draw-over looks really bad. I'm just posting it cause i spent all this time trying to figure it out and still I can't make it work.

This pose is just, weird. To fix it, you'll have to start all over with a completely different pose.

Study real life. Learn what is possible and what is not possible. Learn the movement patterns of fighting and running and jumping. Learn proper design and balance. Give the drawing a story, give it a narrative, something to accomplish.

Probably the biggest problem with the pose is the lack of rhythm. Everything straight and stiff.

And it's contradictory. The story that the arms are telling is different from what the legs are saying. The arms look like he just cut someone in half while the legs looks like they're about to take off, and we instinctively know that this can't happen. It's like the arms swung, and mid swing he begins to leap forward. It just doesn't happen.

Do a lot of gesture drawing and cafe sketching. I promise you there is value in studying posing.
