So many kids in my classes would say that's what they wanted to do. I just never had the heart to tell them... Not only are they not even particularly good at it (total shit in some cases), but the sheer volume of people who share their "dream" just makes it even more unlikely they're going to find work.

And it's not like they're that passionate about it. If they were, they'd have shown some modicum of improvement over two years. Do some people just really have no redeeming qualities? Are they just doomed to never be happy? Chasing a dream they can't even be bothered to reach?

Well, I mean, at least they have friends...
