it's inconsistent whether the bun is up or down. if up, it shouldn't be visible from a front view. try to draw the rough shapes of the hair first, like the 'leaf' shape of the fringe, then break into it on your second pass(try dimming opacity of sketch layer, then locking it and drawing over it in another layer).
