90% of everything is shit, right?
I don't hate anime, I grew up on it and it's been a primary influence in my art, maybe the single largest influence. But I don't want to draw it as such, meaning the mass culture popular style of it.
Pic related is an illustration by Take, an "anime" artist who actually has an ounce of originality in him. You would never guess this is gachaslop, yet it is, and it's also conventionally appealing and attractive in many ways. Who knew that combination of traits was possible? Not weebs.
Just stop being such colossal mongoloid faggots and take a little inspiration outside your narrow bubble of seasonal coom, and maybe the stray Bouguereau painting. Contrary to /a/'s opinion it's not admirable to watch just any trash just to fill out your MAL list.
You'd all probably progress much more rapidly artistically if you thought broadly about the concept of moe/cuteness. The French have some ideas, start there
