Honestly I'm not sure if I'm not right about the Hyper Angle suspicion. OP image looks
suspiciously like the body of one of the models they frequently use in their publications.

That's all fine and dandy m8, but if you want to git gud at drawing figures in complex poses, you're gonna have to draw figures in complex poses. Drawing a figure in a complex pose pushes challenges your ability in gesture, basic forms, anatomy, etc.
A portrait here and there is good, but the overwhelming majority of study threads is 'lets draw this pretty girl'.
Also, you're bringing 'boring' and 'artistic expression' into the equation, I never mentioned that.
Even so, studies are done to improve. That doesn't mean they should be without spirit, but this shouldn't be the place for artsty fartsy muh expression thinking.
