/ic/ - Artwork/Critique

I didn't really go into this with a plan or sketch (just a silhouette) and it shows.. I don't know how to make it pop more, and whether I should maybe extend the canvas to show the limbs? The legs/feet also feel like they curve wrong and lack any defining musculature... should I look to reference a human's thigh or something like a lion's?
