Anyway you want to work with the pic you like to learn from it. The pdf guide above has a good process. You learn how to work with a pic, then you trace and copy that pic at a simplified level, then you try to replicate from memory. In the beginning of your drawing journey I recommend just the tracing part to avoid having your hatred of your art and skills coincide with your attempts to pick up and use a pencil. In this guide I will only trace bc I hate myself and my skills and any attempts to make a shitty copy will distract me from making the guide
