I think reusing colours in the same design or across designs can help make the characters feel more cohesive. So I tried fudging the colours around a bit: I made the pink dog's fur the same shade of pink as the shirt on the character next to him, and I made his hair the same hue as his pants. I also made all the yellows the same, on the girl's hat, the boy's backpack and the dog's shirt. There were some small details too, like the Fjallraven logo being changed to the same shade of red as the girl's backpack, and the bow on his tail was made the same pink as his hair. Super small adjustments, let me know what you think.
I also slapped an orange filter on top to shift all the hues into a similar range, but it muted the colours maybe a little too much lol
