Okay, so this is what I have so far.

Can someone help me make it look not so... weird? Lol I definitely need to go through the basics. I just want to do a gift for an artist friend.

The paper one the right is my first try. One on top is an outline of the base image I want to use as reference. The paper on the bottom left is my most recent attempt. I'm trying to have the character reading a book.

Any help would be super appreciated.
