I tried lifting the forehead a bit. Better or still too low? I think it might still be too low lol.

I also redid the hatching on the side of the skull and on the jaw, tried smudging some.
It’s difficult to get the values/rendering right, it’s a balancing act of what details to render and where to put contrast and where not to, based on multiple considerations that interplay. Like how do I deal with a receding are like the inside of the socket? Or the side of the skull, how detailed should the hatching be seeing as its an area that’s farther away and out of focus? And should I render all the teeth individually or only bring out certain ones, and if so which ones?

There’s also something about the proportions that feel off to me, the features seem misaligned somehow, but I can’t put my finger on it. :/
