Anon, I don't know if your american, but thats what exactly what happened. When black people made they're own towns they where burned down to the ground and looted for suspicious reasons. When black people made an organization, The black panthers, to teach their people how to group up, protect themselves, handle firearms correctly and help the unfortunate, like handing out food and helping people get jobs, the organization was infiltrated and splintered from the inside out and branded a terrorist organization, then wiped out by the national guard not to long after. There was government run organizations made to disrupt any effort for black people to organize. This would of never been found out if people didn't break into FBI offices with tons of paper records on it. Colombian drug cartels where sanctioned to sell drugs to black communities by the CIA with the government taking massive cuts of money from it. Tons of police all over the country had or still has affiliations to the KKK. Black people have been systematically fucked with in America all through out history and I haven't even mentioned half the things that where done in effort to stop black people from making a better life for themselves. Its many leaps and bounds better now and black people can make themselves very wealthy without too much trouble, but the idea that we've never had anything work against us after slavery is beyond asinine.

Of course there's amazing female artist around and some of them have the "unique" female art perspective, but explicitly inviting them will only cause social cliques and drama to form far more frequently and in much more chaotic fashion.
