How many years did you shitpost on /ic before you realized you really won't make it? Since Crimson Daggers days? Earlier? Did that realization hurt your feelings?

Interest, desire, passion, will or however you want to call it.

It's kind of dumb question, but i bet some of you fight the same battle as me.

Long story short:

Because drawing boxes is 90% of things he teaches in his lectures

How does one draw from imagination?

I've been training at drawing from reference or a real model for years now and I'm getting good at it, but if you ask me to draw a girl's face or a fully clothed figure just from imagination I'll do the shittiest drawing ever.

You can say "just imagine boxes in perspective", but how do you design/place the folds of the clothing properly/ keep proportions and perspective correct/everything ?? It's fucking impossible I swear, and getting it correct on the first try is even harder

How do I practice / get good at drawing with 0 construction?

KJG every year until he dies. put anybody else in front of a wall with a sharpie and no reference and lets see how good they really are.
