Thanks, anon. I mainly try playing around with shapes and angles, and whenever I get stuck I try looking at the works of artists I like for inspiration, mainly Trigger artists. Also have a mirror to make faces in for reference helps me.
This guide has also always been helpful to me when trying to think about expressions.

Loomis you shitter, or study some dimension and structure. You're not even past the basics. You drew a circle, the line of the chin, and a line down the middle of the face in an angle, then ignored that angle. It doesn't matter if you're not done with the picture or it's just a sketch, but you didn't even follow your own structure. It's why people are ignoring you/spouting loomis, because at the level you're at you simply don't understand fundamentals that you should either be learning from a book, videos, looking at other artist, or life. No ones going to teach at the level you're at as there's already thousands of different ways to learn.

Become well known by posting your shit and getting good or creating stuff that people find relevant to their interest. Even as a hobby why would you want to stay so shit at it? I wouldn't play video games, workout, etc as a hobby if I was just going to do it wrong, it beats the point and loses enjoyment.
