How about before blindly following advises from random people, you first judge if those advises are reasonable?
Like think with your own head first? Is this concept too hard?

I think DA could be great again, but the site owners clearly dont gaf and are utterly clueless on how to bring it back from the dead but may be these ideas can be used to help make a spiritual successor to DA.

-Overall I think DA would benefit greatly from a booru styled tagging and search system. That way, users can also block images they dont want to view with specific tags and also search for fanart much easier.


-Artist pages should be simple and minimalist to avoid making them an ugly clusterfuck. You can add backgrounds and personalize it somewhat with html and javascript(like with tumblr)

-Get rid of Eclipse. It only made things worse.

-you can no longer leave comments on an artists profile page, only their submissions.

-the artist journal stays. Except it's like a mini twitter application and you can just use it to keep your followers updated on your activity like commission deadlines or other announcements.
