How are you holding up guys amidst the current events in the world?

Lately I've been feeling very disillusioned with art, how can I sit here and make silly drawings everyday while the world I live in turns to shit? It would be better if I were to join the military or something. I'm pretty confident that in my life time I'll be forced to fight for my life when the mayhem reaches my own family's doorstep and I don't know how to prepare for it

I don't know much about religion but couldn't you start some monastic art group where members dedicate their entire lives to art and their way to heaven is through making michelangeo tier christian art?
