>youre just unwilling to subject yourself to an object moral standard

My inherent problem with systems, even moral systems, is that they are systems and Darwinian law and the fucked up cruelty of mother nature and sheer terrifying amazingness captured in every molecule of the universe, is just, I'm sorry but to reduce all that to a creation myth is a shame in my eyes.

Morals go out the door when you are in fight or flight, or you're literally just stupid and will be killed off eventually or too smart for your own good to never reproduce.

Still though, I'm not saying there isn't a god. I believe in a non-intervening deity that we are in incapable of seeing, but I also do not. If speech is deceptive, then I'm sorry If I cannot convey this thought to you in its original form, but Beauty in life is to me, something you can never understand if you really are an artist. You're just as awestruck as if you didn't even draw it yourself.

My moral system for a while was: "If x makes you better at art, fuck all other variables and DO IT"

which meant a lot of weed, amphetamines, mushrooms, LSD, DXM, Mescaline, DPH, Non recreational IV Ketamine treatment, Abilify, pretty much everything but opiates and benzodiazepines appealed to me drug wise, because I drew on them.

Later, about after 10 years of this and not really having many friends left I decided I would just try to live, be stable, not do drugs and just try to see if I would come back to art naturally out of boredom. I did.

I put art on this pedastal when in reality drawing is the best thing ever, if you're bored enough to do it.

You're not wrong, fundamentally speaking, you're just literally missing out on the best, fun, most expressive part of art which is choosing the color palette.
