Eyo Brian/oil painting people:

Will it fuck up the paint film if I use a hairdryer with low heat or no heat to speed up drying time? I painted a thing on board but I need to ship it in a week and a half. I didn't use any solvent and it's like 90% titanium white, so that shit isn't gonna be dry to the touch by then if I just let it go all normal-like.

Youre doing well not to mess with color for a bit. The #1 thing that will give you a jump in appeal is using shadow shapes to define forms instead of lines. You can use both, but your work will be strongest if you can use shadow alone, that way you can use line only where it is most appropriate. Copy a few bargue plates with sight-size method, spend no less than 5 hours on each. Also draw bigger, work on 12x16 paper.

do two trees and then just do sky+clouds entirely in watercolor if you need it asap. Looks fucking stellar.
