if they were actually trying to draw white girls, they would look very different. trust me, i tried it before.

remember the stick figure example i mentioned before? what it means is that anime characters aren't trying to be anything in particular. ESPECIALLY with more abstract styles. there are many exceptions, but like i said, it's not nearly as black and white as you make it out to be.

also notice this: when a manga plays in different country, the characters will look the same anyway. because they are not all white, they are all "stick figures".
