The surface of the water in your painting looks like an opaque layer of ink instead of, well, water. The woman also doesn't give off the impression of being submerged in water despite her hair, body and environment. Like >>2806206 says, it's an ambitious study so I don't mean to it you down.

Here's a picture of what I'm suggesting. Light and water is a difficult thing to master.
