Using the whole arm, the movement coming from the shoulder rather than "chicken-scratching" and drawing from the wrist. Practicing & being able to draw consistent lines pushing/pulling in diff directions. Not getting carpal tunnel (!!!) It's really for practicing tattooing, designing stencils, tattoo artists make their living via the permanence of their drawings, and henceforth their reputation as an artist, every piece is extremely important, make-or-break. They do a lot of drawing, obviously. It takes some getting used to, but it's pretty comfy desu. You obviously can make the grip as thin or as wide as you want.
