I been here since 06 and in "Show the Love" threads on early web 1.0 forums, and let me tell you something...BACK IN MY DAY:
the internet was fucking more refreshing than an oasis for an artist. especially if someone drew your OC that was better than you. Its like free art gains. Fr. Free perspective.
Ill never forget the deliveries I got that were from legit better than me artists because I saw my dude better than ever, and it motivated me like a mf to draw more.
Real life used to suck a mountain of cocks and the internet was where you got to find respite.
