I posted this on /alt/ previous thread but it was at the end of it's life at the mo and only got so far that the pose made no sense, I did try to explain the reasoning behind it nonetheless. I thought of posting this here also hoping someone else might want to comment about it or raise their issues. Thanks in advance.

Maybe organizing your detail hierarchy? If you want to overdetail everything then you may have to make that sacrifice but it could be worthy. I tend to do the opposite lol, wonky terrible texturing. It's on my to improve on list.

It's probably one of those up and downs along the learning curve stairs. sometimes it may be that the action or gesture is not that interesting.
Try making the hood have some design of itself maybe? Like ears or something that sticks out, might break the silhouette a bit. Right now everything is round and sort of boring.

Thanks. I think the head on your pose is small but not sure what kind of proportion you are going for, it's just a feeling. The left leg feels a bit forced with the apparent angling of the femur, try rising the knee a bit maybe?
