As somewhat of a /his/ aficionado, it's refreshing to see a shota artist incorporating historically-inspired costumes and props into their pieces.

While looking at this couple of pictures, I can't help but to be instantly reminded of the aesthetic sensibilities of 70's shojo manga, specifically the works of Moto Hagio and Keiko Takemiya (pic related).

The only nitpick I have is that, although the features of your character's face look nice when taken individually, their placement ends up giving it a bit too much of an elongated appearance for my taste.

Personally, I feel that if you made his nose slightly shorter, and then reduced the size of his philtrum area, as well as that of his chin (therefore making the shape of his face more round), your shota would look even cuter.
