To take 3D render passes as comparison, you only seems to use the "rim left" one. It all feels very flat and lacks shadows and reflections. Consider studying those, it helps a lot in improvement your shading.

One other problem I see way too much Is that you put an highlight everytime there is a line. Stop this, that's not how it works at all, you're just repeating errors of others.
