generally my order of operations is to prep like 4-10 canvasses at a time. i put down the underdrawings on all of them in the same sitting, and then cover them all in a gesso layer like in pict related. Sometimes I'll just do a super wash with a lot of water and sometimes I'll use less water and more gesso, and sometimes matte gel, to build a bit of texture and shape and whatever.

writing uppity essays in response to critique is how I manically procrastinate. I aint meme nothing by it.
