I had a intro to figure drawing class, but that class was more about getting rid of symbol drawing rather than studying figure drawing techniques and applying them and I failed it lol.

I spend most of my time at home critiquing my own work and I don't have anyone teaching me. Basically I just draw a lot and try to keep an open mind. I also ask other artists a lot of questions even if the questions themselves are pretty simple.

My basic study cycle is attempt>study>apply. I work mostly in traditional. I'm just brute forcing improvement by drawing a lot. Also I enjoy the grind a whole lot, it's fun.
