work on understanding the proportional relationship of facial features
>>3833757
for me understanding the anatomy of the animal i'm drawing helps, i understand the underlying shapes and their purpose and can therefore generate more accurate mental pictures

the eyes look alarming because they are thickly lined and the shading is inconsistent with the rest of the image. your proportions are very bad. limbs must be longer than the torso, yours are not. a better understanding of the mass of human flesh and the way it moves will greatly benefit you if this is the type of artwork you want to pursue
>>3833846
chuck some straight lines over your image, her face is currently very lopsided. keep studying your values, you're on a good path there
>>3833850
don't bother with colour until you have a better grasp on 3D form. right now ur image is a mess of ill-defined blobs. don't be afraid to use hard edges. try studying both irl human races and skulls to get a better grasp on the placement and size of facial features
>>3833955
when you draw the lines for feature markers they actually need to be straight lines. use a ruler if you need to but you should also practice simply being able to draw straight lines
>>3834006
you need to work on your understanding of 3D space. the clothes of the characters look exceptionally flat and physically nonsensical. study how actual fabric moves on the human body

yes. if you need to begin by directly tracing loomis' constructions to understand the proportions, then do so
>>3834669
torso is too large for starters. for anime the eyes should be in the lower half/third (depending on how far you take the distortion) of the "skull". also she(?) isn't currently wearing that cap, it's sitting on the top of her head. see pic. it would do you well to practice just drawing smooth lines to rid yourself of the chicken scratch lines
