Just to kind of expand on that, the reason I picked youtube people is because there was tons of readily available reference of them, and you could see them from all angles, with a range of expressions, and see how they all work on one mostly unchanging face, plus I could just pause if I wanted to sketch one face, then keep going and looking for another, so it actually works well on lots of levels.

If I wanted to do some digital painting studies in photoshop, portraits/busts from photos, in color, how long is a good amount of time to spend on each study, if I'm intermediate at drawing from photos and low level intermediate or possibly beginner at digital painting? It took me 40-60 minutes to draw these from photos in pencil.
